Within the framework of the scientific and educational activities pursued by the College of Human Medicine at Al-Furat University to promote interactive learning and consolidate basic medical concepts, the college witnessed a distinguished scientific lecture within the special embryonic course, devoted to studying the embryonic development of the eye, and the successive stages of its formation since the beginnings of fetal life, in addition to reviewing the most prominent congenital malformations and developmental disorders associated with them and the foundations of understanding them from the embryonic perspective.
The lecture was distinguished by its participatory and academic nature, as the students prepared the lecture, divided its topics, and presented it successively in front of their colleagues, in an educational experience aimed at developing research, analysis, and scientific presentation skills, and promoting a culture of learning based on participation and knowledge exchange.
The lecture activities took place under the supervision of Dr. Hossam Al-Najm, who accompanied the preparation and presentation stages, providing the necessary scientific guidance and academic supervision, which contributed to enriching scientific discussions and achieving the desired educational goals.
Through these activities, the College of Human Medicine confirms its continued keenness to provide a stimulating educational environment that combines scientific roots with effective academic practice, and contributes to the preparation of medical cadres who possess the knowledge, skill, and ability to think critically and scientific research.
All thanks and appreciation to Dr. Hossam Al-Najm and the participating students for their distinguished scientific efforts, wishing them continued success.
