Al-Furat University was established by Law No. /33/ dated 1/7/2006, to be a scientific and cognitive beacon in the eastern region of the Syrian Arab Republic. The university includes twenty-five faculties distributed in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor, Hasakah, and Raqqa, committed to providing high-quality education and innovative scientific research serving the local and international community.
