Al-Furat University
The College of Agriculture in Deir ez-Zor was established under the name Deir ez-Zor Second College of Agriculture by Legislative Decree No. /2693/ dated 13/7/1977 and was affiliated with Aleppo University, and after the establishment of Al-Furat University in 2006, it became affiliated with Al-Furat University.
The College of Agriculture at Al-Furat University is one of the basic scientific colleges in the eastern region, established with the aim of preparing specialized cadres capable of developing the agricultural sector in Deir ez-Zor governorate and surrounding areas.
The College includes an elite group of faculty members and experts, and offers bachelor and postgraduate programs in various agricultural specializations, including: plant protection, animal production, horticulture, crops, food sciences, lands, environment and forestry, and rural engineering.
The College provides extensive laboratory and educational infrastructure that helps students acquire applied and research skills, in addition to experimental fields used in practical training and graduation project implementation. The College also plays an active role in serving the agricultural community through applied research, organizing scientific courses and workshops, and finding solutions to local agricultural problems, enhancing its role as a scientific and developmental center in the eastern region.
Study duration for obtaining a bachelor's degree is five academic years.
It is to elevate and excel in the quality of agricultural education at the College to achieve Al-Furat University's mission towards excellence and leadership in teaching, scientific research, and community service in various agricultural fields, while enhancing the student's ability for self-learning and applied scientific research to make the College a source of competent graduates and researchers capable of competing regionally and globally, qualified to keep pace with labor market needs and contributors to achieving sustainable agricultural development and food security, and a center for scientific and technical radiation to serve the agricultural sector in the Syrian Arab Republic
يختص بدراسة فعالية المبيدات وطرق استخدامها الآمنة، وتحليل تراكيزها وتأثيرها على الآفات والنبات والبيئة
يعنى بتشخيص الحشرات النافعة والضارة، ودراسة بيولوجيا النحل وإنتاجه، وتطوير أساليب إدارة ومكافحة الآفات
يُعنى بتشخيص الأمراض النباتية الفطرية والبكتيرية والفيروسية وتحليل مسبباتها ووضع توصيات للحد من انتشارها
يختص بدراسة تغذية ورعاية الحيوانات المجترة وتحليل الأعلاف وتقييم كفاءة الإنتاج
يعنى بفزيولوجيا الحيوان وقياس المؤشرات المرتبطة بالنمو والإنتاج والصحة الحيوانية
متخصص بدراسة أمراض وتغذية وإدارة الدواجن وتحليل جودة البيض واللحوم.
يعنى بدراسة إنتاج الفواكه والخضر ونباتات الزينة، وتطوير التقنيات الزراعية لتحسين المحاصيل البستانية
مخصص لإكثار النباتات مخبريًا عبر زراعة الأنسجة لإنتاج شتلات خالية من الأمراض وبمواصفات عالية.
يعالج دراسة المحاصيل الحقلية من حيث الإنتاجية والصفات الزراعية، وإجراء التجارب المتعلقة بالبذور والتربة
يعنى بتجارب الري والصرف والهيدروليك وتصميم النظم الزراعية وتحليل منشآت الهندسة الريفية
يعالج التحاليل الأساسية للمواد الغذائية مثل الرطوبة، البروتين، الدهون، والرماد
مخصص للتحاليل الميكروبيولوجية للكشف عن سلامة الأغذية وجودتها.
يعنى باختبارات التصنيع الغذائي وتطوير المنتجات وتقنيات الحفظ المختلفة.
يختص بتحليل خواص التربة الكيميائية والفيزيائية وتقييم خصوبتها وتحديد احتياجاتها من الأسمدة
يعالج دراسة الملوثات البيئية وجودة المياه والهواء والتربة، إضافة إلى تقييم الأثر البيئي للأنشطة الزراعية
