The Department of Food Sciences at Al-Furat University, under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Karak and Dr. Thanaa Shehab, made a scientific trip to the General Authority for Biotechnology and to the Zeina factory for making mortadella, based on the keenness of Al-Furat University, represented by the university presidency and the dean of the university, Dr. Thuraya Al-Nawaji, to support the educational process and link the academic aspect to practical application, which will contribute to the preparation of qualified scientific cadres capable of keeping pace with developments in the field of food science and technology.
