The Faculty of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at Al-Furat University organized a scientific field visit for fourth-year students to the industrial area in Deir ez-Zor, under the patronage of the President of Al-Furat University, Dr. Munir Al-Aroud.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Jaida Al-Alloush, and the Head of the Engineering Department, Engineer Moaz Al-Jouri, participated in the visit, in addition to Dr. Rami Muhammad, who provided comprehensive explanations about the machines and equipment present in the industrial workshops, with the support and cooperation of the industrialists in charge of them.
This activity provided students with a unique opportunity to learn directly about the engineering work environment and witness practical applications of what had been studied theoretically, which contributed to expanding their scientific experience and enhancing their understanding of labor market requirements.
This visit comes within a series of activities that the university presidency and college administration are keen to organize with the aim of preparing engineers who possess the scientific competence and applied skills necessary to keep pace with professional development.
