Al-Furat University
The College of Science in Deir ez-Zor was established by Legislative Decree 277 dated 26/7/2002 in Deir ez-Zor city, where this college was administratively affiliated with Aleppo University.
After the establishment of Al-Furat University following Law 33 of 2006, the College of Science became the first college in Al-Furat University in Deir ez-Zor, where the College of Science in Deir ez-Zor seeks through its establishment to fulfill its mission that manifests in instilling faith in rising generations because it is the foundation for developing other sciences - scientific research in science specializations is the way to scientific and economic advancement in society.

- Mathematics Department including Mathematical Analysis and Algebra divisions
- Pure Chemistry Department
- Natural Sciences Department - Environmental Biology division
- Geology Department - Applied division
The College of Science strives with all effort and energy to achieve its noble mission that embodies the strategic vision of higher education, where it works to instill firm faith in the minds and hearts of rising generations that basic sciences represent the main pillar and solid foundation upon which various branches of scientific and applied knowledge are built. The College also deeply believes that serious and systematic scientific research in various basic science specializations forms the fundamental pillar and the only path to comprehensive and sustainable renaissance, leading to scientific progress, cultural advancement, social development, and economic prosperity, contributing to building a knowledge society and achieving sustainable development that the nation aspires to.
يُقدم التجارب الأساسية التي تُثبت القوانين الفيزيائية الأساسية في الميكانيكا والحرارة، وهو حجر الأساس لطلاب السنة الأولى.
يُعنى بدراسة الدوائر الكهربائية وخصائص التيار المستمر والمتردد،
يختص بدراسة المجالات المغناطيسية الناتجة عن التيارات الكهربائية وتفاعلها مع المواد المختلفة.
يُجري تجارب على الحركة الاهتزازية والموجات الميكانيكية لدراسة الرنين والتداخل والحيود.
يدرس قوانين الديناميكا الحرارية وعلاقتها بالطاقة والحرارة وتحولاتها في الأنظمة الفيزيائية.
يركز على دراسة خصائص الضوء كالشعاع، باستخدام المرايا والعدسات وتطبيقاتها في تكوين الصور.
يستكشف الطبيعة الموجية للضوء من خلال تجارب الحيود والاستقطاب والتداخل.
يُعنى بدراسة خصائص ضوء الليزر وتطبيقاته العملية في مجالات مثل القياس والاتصالات.
يُدرب على تصميم وتحليل الدوائر الإلكترونية التماثلية باستخدام الترانزستورات والمضخمات التشغيلية.
يركز على بناء واختبار الدوائر المنطقية الرقمية الأساسية باستخدام البوابات المنطقية.
يختص بدراسة التركيب الذري للعناصر من خلال تحليل أطياف الانبعاث والامتصاص.
يدرس الخصائص الكهربائية والمغناطيسية للمواد الصلبة وأشباه الموصلات.
يستخدم البرمجة والمحاكاة الحاسوبية لحل المسائل الفيزيائية المعقدة التي يصعب حلها نظرياً.
يُدخل الطلاب إلى التقنيات الأساسية في المختبر والتجارب الكيميائية الأولية.
يركز على تحضير وتفاعلات المركبات العضوية وتقنيات تنقيتها مثل التقطير والاستخلاص.
يختص بتحضير ودراسة خواص المركبات اللاعضوية وتفاعلات العناصر المختلفة.
يطبق مبادئ الديناميكا الحرارية والحركية الكيميائية لقياس سرعة التفاعلات وخصائص المحاليل.
يُدرب على استخدام الطرق الكيميائية والآلية المختلفة (مثل المعايرة) لتحديد تركيز المكونات في العينات.
يدرس الخواص الفيزيائية والكيميائية للمواد الغروية والبوليميرات وتطبيقاتها الصناعية.
يُقدم التعرف على المعادن والصخور الأساسية باستخدام العينات والخرائط الجيولوجية.
يختص بدراسة الخواص البصرية والفيزيائية للمعادن والصخور النارية والرسوبية والمتحولة تحت المجهر.
يُعنى بدراسة التشريح الداخلي والتركيب النسيجي للكائنات الحيوانية المختلفة.
يركز على دراسة التركيب الداخلي للخلايا والأنسجة النباتية ودورة حياة النباتات.
The Physics Department is a leading scientific beacon in advanced applied research, uniquely hosting specialized postgraduate programs. The program consists of two stages: 1. Advanced Coursework, 2. Scientific Research and Thesis preparation.
