Within the framework of enhancing scientific and research activities within the university’s management plan, the Vice President of Al-Furat University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Amir, and the Director of Scientific Research, Dr. Isra Nuwaiji, held an extensive meeting with postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD).
The meeting aimed to discuss current scientific issues and open a direct dialogue with students on a number of important topics related to scientific publishing, whether internal or external, in addition to discussing the initial seminars and the registration and defense mechanism.
The meeting also discussed the necessity of accrediting research teams within departments and specializations, and creating a dedicated platform for internal and external publishing, with the aim of facilitating students’ access to internationally classified scientific journals, which contributes to improving the quality of scientific research.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of organizing periodic meetings to follow up on the research activity of postgraduate students, in a way that enhances the scientific and classification level of the university, and reflects its continuing efforts to raise the level of higher education and scientific research.
