Prof. Dr. Mounir Al-Habib Al-Aroud, President of Al-Furat University, accompanied by the Vice-Presidents of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Amir (for Scientific Affairs), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Mousa Al-Saleh (for Administrative and Student Affairs), and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Abdullah, Dean of the College of Arts, opened the library of the College of Arts and Human Sciences in Deir Ezzor.
The library consists of an administrative office, an office for storing books and literature, in addition to a private hall for reading.
The library includes hundreds of books, periodicals, and a number of university theses.
Its contents cover all academic specializations of the college, such as: literature, language, grammar, rhetoric, criticism, and dictionaries.
In addition to books on general culture, history, geography, and social studies.
The library has been arranged and classified in a scientific manner to make it easy for undergraduate and postgraduate students and members of the academic staff to benefit from it, which contributes to enriching the scientific research process.
Efforts are currently being made to develop the library and catalog it electronically on the college’s website, in addition to working to provide a mini-library that includes a variety of digital and audio books and periodicals. To form an integrated knowledge database.
