The College of Petrochemical Engineering organized a scientific field trip to the Ayyash Water Purification Plant and the Deir ez-Zor Water Corporation under the supervision of Dr. Nofa Al-Jumaa, as part of the scientific plan for the first semester and under the directives of the President of Al-Furat University, Dr. Munir Al-Aroud.
During the visit, the students were briefed on the stages of water treatment, filtering techniques and laboratory analysis, in addition to learning about the mechanisms of sterilization and pumping water towards the city, which contributes to strengthening the link between the theoretical and applied aspects in the field of water engineering.
Al-Furat University thanks the management of the Water Corporation for its cooperation in making the scientific visit a success.
